A Message About the Corona Virus
Good afternoon LVL Family! Governor Parson has announced the current stay at home order will expire on May 3, 2020 at 11:59 pm. Therefore, Lost Valley will reopen on Monday May 4th to accept reservations for campsites, RV rentals and Condos; standard reservation rules apply. At this time, all hours of operation for all buildings and departments will also resume as of May 4, except for the Restaurant which will remain closed until possibly later in the month. This does not mean that all activities or areas of activities within each building will be open for use. Signs will be posted, and additional information will follow.
Please remember that while LVL is located in rural Gasconade county which has only had 2 recorded positive COVID-19 cases, the LVL camping family consists of owners from all areas of the state of MO, IL & KS and beyond.
We must ALL remain diligent in taking steps to make sure everyone’s visit is safe and enjoyable while continuing to flatten the curve.
- If you or someone in your household feels ill or may have been exposed to someone who is ill, stay home and contact your health care provider.
- Wash your hands for at least 20 seconds and often.
- Cough or sneeze into your elbow.
- If you visit, be sure to pack extra soap and/or hand sanitizer. Due to limited services, soap or sanitizer may not always be available.
- Practice social distancing by keeping a distance of at least six feet from others.
Please remember this will be a new normal for all of us, prepare for things to be different. We will continue to use approved methods and cleansers to sanitize rentals accommodations and public areas. We will also continue scheduled daily shutdowns of certain areas for sanitization however it is your responsibility to do your personal part to keep yourself safe and healthy as well. Social Distancing guidelines are required and will be enforced. If people are not abiding by social distancing limitations LVL reserves the right to close trouble areas where people overpopulate or areas that could create risk. This situation is still very fluid, and we will adjust as necessary.
We will do our best to keep you informed the best we can. If we miss a detail such as a door being locked, or an activity must be eliminated on short notice please have patience and bear with us during this unprecedented time.
We look forward to seeing you back on the resort…… 6’ apart!
